Sunset over skyline
A winter sun sets over the skyline of Alphen aan den Rijn. Photographed from an office building in late 2018
Clair de lune
A waxing moon.
Mainly shot to showcase what the combination of the Sony A99-II and the Sony G 70-400/f4-5.6 lens are capable of (with the help of the Sigma APO 1.4x converter)
Thumbs up
A cumulus cloud formation. Make of it what you will. I see a raised right arm doing a thumbs up.
Altocumulus
Medium height cumulus clouds flocking together in a nice ripple pattern at sunset
Roll cloud coming in
July 17, 2004. When I saw it coming in, I rushed inside to grab the camera (Minolta XD-7 with a 28mm Kiron lens and a Kodak Gold 400). When I came back out, it was almost upon us. I got this shot, rushed back inside, and all hell broke loose. KNMI still mentions this on their website.
Moon over Clachtoll Rock
(yes, this is also in Landscapes)
Courtesy of the sun setting very late in Scotland)
Moonlit night
It’s really a cloud!
Lying in the grass, and thinking “the things you see when you haven’t go– wait, I do have my camera with me!”
